Parade

SAVE THE DATE- Aug 16, 2025
Our annual Pincher Creek Parade will be Saturday, Aug 16 at 11:00a.m.

REGISTER YOUR FLOAT HERE!!

🎵👢🎉 2025 THEME: Boots, Beats and Bling 🎵👢🎉

Here’s some ideas how you could lean into it:

Boots: Celebrate western heritage, rodeo gear, cowboy culture.
Beats:
Incorporate live music, dance-offs, drumming groups, or even a “marching band” into your float.
Bling:
Think sparkle! Encourage sequins, rhinestones, belt buckles, flashy floats, and glammed-up western wear.

🎉 Parade/Float Ideas:

  • Floats themed around “Country Glam” or “Rodeo Rockstars.”

  • Invite local musicians or youth bands to perform on floats.

  • Glittery horse tack and costumed riders (blinged-out barrel racers or disco cowboys).

  • Prizes for “Best Use of Bling,” “Best Boots,” or “Most Musical Float.”

🎨 Storefront Décor Ideas:

  • decorate with western glitz—think hay bales, sparkly boots, disco balls, guitars, and LED lights.

  • Theme it up:

    • Boots: Cowboy boot displays, old leather saddles, or boot planters.

    • Beats: Use vinyl records, speakers, or posters of famous country stars.

    • Bling: Sequins, tinsel curtains, rhinestone mannequins, or glittery signs.

      👢 In-Store Activities & Promotional ideas:

  • "Boot Bling Bar": Offer a DIY station to decorate boots, hats, or bandanas with gems (great for kids or groups).

  • "Shop & Two-Step": Play music and teach a line dance in the store at set times.

  • "Spin for Bling": Use a prize wheel with discounts, swag, or gift cards.

  • "Rodeo Bucks" Promo: Customers who spend $X get “Rodeo Bucks” toward their next visit or for local draw prizes.

Pincher Creek Women In Business - Spill the Tea

Join us for tea as Mackenzie Hengerer, Founder HR Advantage, shares insights on navigating small town gossip and news and what to do when the tea is spilled!

Recently, the topics of gossip, small-town connections, when to "share gossip vs reveal interesting news," and managing crucial conversations have come up again and again. These discussions can be hard to have and that is exactly why we would like to provide a safe and fun environment for our attendees to explore management tools when it comes to these situations. We want to help create boundaries and encourage coop-etition amongst all businesses, not just our large number of female-owned businesses within our community. We feel our WIB group is an excellent place to start!

This event will be hosted at The Pincher Creek Legion (upstairs) from 7 p.m.

$20 for Chamber members and $25 for non-chamber members.

Email info@pincherchamber.ca to receive your chamber member discount code!

For more information, please contact Stacy at 403-627-5199 or email info@pincherchamber.ca.
